We insist that you come here, to Thunder Bay, Ontario, to pick up your puppy or dog! This way you meet your new furfriend before you fill out the paperwork to confirm your adoption! ALL ADOPTIONS ARE $325 UNLESS STATED OTHERWISE. A $100 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED TO SECURE YOUR DOG OR PUPPY.

YOU MUST HAVE A VET TO ADOPT THROUGH PAWS FOR LOVE!

If you’re a client with Thunder Bay Veterinary Hospital, their regulations stipulate that you must contact them, state that you give Paws for Love permission to confirm you are a client, and then you must contact us at info@paws4love.ca and let us know that we have your permission to confirm your file is active. Failure to do so may result in your inability to adopt. We suggest that whatever clinic you use, that you inform them that you give Paws for Love consent to affirm your file is active and you’re able to add another dog to your file.

RUBY-ROO

Please meet Ruby-Roo!

Ruby is an 11 week old, mixed breed girl looking for her furever home. She is a long legged lady and marches to the beat of her own drum!

Ruby is an energetic, independent, confident little girl. She loves everyone, from adults to children and animals of all shapes and sizes; dogs, cats, horses, goats and chickens!

Ruby does extremely well inside, with little to no accidents. She also sleeps through the night in her own bed like the independent girl that she is!

She loves to play, loves going for walks, loves food, and most importantly, loves love.

Ruby is an excellent little girl and would make the best addition to any family! She’ll be ready to go to her furever home next week after her second vaccination. She is also microchipped and dewormed. If you would like to meet Ruby, please fill out an adoption application below.

COOPER

Cooper is more shy, quiet, and low-key, but he definitely has a funny personality. He loves picking on his sister until she finally snaps, and then he acts completely innocent like he had absolutely nothing to do with it! Cooper is very vocal and loves to “talk back.” He is doing fairly well with the pee pads.

Cooper is full of life and energy and loves being outside, playing and exploring. We think he will be a very loyal and loving companion once he finds his person and settles into his forever home. He has been around children of all ages, cats, and other dogs and has done well He is 8 weeks old and ready to go to his furever home on Aug 27th when he’ll be vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed. NIMA

Hi my name is Nima. I am approximately 4 years old. My current weight is 55 lbs. I just finished being a momma dog for the last time. My puppies have gone to their furever families now I am ready. If you are looking for a sweet laid back girl, that’s me. I love being outside, some walks would be good. Then I’m about relaxing. I currently live with my foster siblings which are small, medium and large. The cats are fine we just sniff noses. Also great with kids. I have two sets vaccines, rabies and microchipped. WINNIE

Winnie is mischievous, crazy, and full of energy! She loves playing with her brother, but when she’s had enough, she has no problem letting him know. She is also a big cuddler and loves getting affection. Winnie is doing really well with the pee pads and, for the most part, uses the one by the front door. She can be very sweet and has her calmer moments, but she definitely knows how to stand her ground when her brother pushes her buttons.

This smarty pants is destined for greatness! Jack is confident, super smart (first to figure anything out amongst his siblings) and very affectionate. He is curious, playful but can also just hang out and cuddle, as long as he is getting a front row seat at the action. Jack gets along well with humans of all ages and canines of all sizes too. A gentle introduction and he’ll take to a feline for sure. This little man is full of personality and will make an awesome best friend. Hi, my name is Lilac and I’m a female mix breed looking for my furever home. Don’t let these knock out looks fool you! I’m confident, smart AND gorgeous. Husky genes likely, and medium size adult also likely (mom is 40 lbs). I love to wrestle, explore and cuddle with my siblings or any human nearby. I learn fast and love the outdoors. Hello, my name is Ash. I thought I was an Oak or maybe a Birch, but then it became obvious by my bark that I was an Ash. Even my colouring proves it! I love to sleep, play, explore and cuddle. I’m a female who will likely be medium size as an adult dog and have some husky genes so will love the winters. I get along with humans of all ages and canines of different sizes (I have Avery big foster sister and a very small foster brother). I’ll be a great addition to the “family tree”! Meet Miss Polly Pocket! She’s the cutest thing you’ll ever see and has 6 toes on all her feet! Polly is a busy and curious little girl and likes the cat and the other dogs in her foster’s home. Her mom is in our care and she is a medium size girl. Polly has sass! She loves the outside and exploring the big big world but when she’s all done her play she’ll sleep through the night.
