We insist that you come here, to Thunder Bay, Ontario, to pick up your puppy or dog! This way you meet your new furfriend before you fill out the paperwork to confirm your adoption! ALL ADOPTIONS ARE $325 UNLESS STATED OTHERWISE. A $100 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED TO SECURE YOUR DOG OR PUPPY.

YOU MUST HAVE A VET TO ADOPT THROUGH PAWS FOR LOVE!

If you’re a client with Thunder Bay Veterinary Hospital, their regulations stipulate that you must contact them, state that you give Paws for Love permission to confirm you are a client, and then you must contact us at info@paws4love.ca and let us know that we have your permission to confirm your file is active. Failure to do so may result in your inability to adopt. We suggest that whatever clinic you use, that you inform them that you give Paws for Love consent to affirm your file is active and you’re able to add another dog to your file.

DELILAH

Delilah is an affectionate and snuggly mixed breed girl who isn’t very shy. She loves cuddles, settles quickly, and sleeps well through the night. She’s almost potty trained and does well with other dogs. Her compatibility with cats is still unknown but we’e sure she’ll be okay. She’s almost 8 weeks and will be ready to go to her furever home on Sept 17th then she’ll have 2 vaccines and will be microchipped and dewormed. KODA

Meet Koda!

Koda is a sweet, smart and loving boy who absolutely loves being part of the family. He’s a shepherd mix, around 8 to 10 months old, and weighs around 50 pounds. He hasn’t seen a cat but his brother who came in with him is fine with them so he probably would be too. He’s wonderful with kids and is happiest when he’s close to his people, whether that means cuddling up at home or hopping in the truck for a ride! He has a particular fascination for squirrels and loves a good belly rub!

Koda is very smart and extremely food motivated, which makes training him fun and rewarding. If there’s a tasty piece of meat involved, you’ll definitely have his attention. He’s still young and eager to learn, making this the perfect age for his new family to continue helping him grow into an amazing dog. He’ll be ready to go on a trial Sept 12th. ROXIE

REHOMING! NO ADOPTION FEE TO THE PERFECT PERSON!

Roxie is an 8 year old spayed and microchipped husky shepherd cross. Don’t let her age fool you! She is full of energy and has lots of life left to be a good companion. While she has spent time around other dogs, cats and kids, she would do best on her own. She has a tendency to get over excited and play rough with other dogs. No small children please. She gets bored and needs someone who can provide her with the level of activity she needs. She does well off leash but needs some practice on leash. She has good recall, can sit, speak and lie down. Hello, my name is Woody and I’m a male mixed breed pup about 8 weeks old who will likely be a medium sized dog. I get along well with children and other dogs both big and small. I love to play and sleep and I’m a quick learner. I’ve already learned how to sit and I’m mostly paper trained and working on outdoor training as well. I love to be outside and enjoy going for walks with my foster brother. If you’re looking for the next love of your life, that’s me!
