Adopt a Dog
We insist that you come here, to Thunder Bay, Ontario, to pick up your puppy or dog! This way you meet your new furfriend before you fill out the paperwork to confirm your adoption! All adoptions are $325 unless stated otherwise. A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your dog or puppy.

RUDY
Rudy is a male mix breed around 4 months.
Loving is not enough to describe this boy. He has been out to camp, harness on and leash attached, but it didn’t matter because he stuck to his foster people.
He loves dogs and has foster siblings but he is careful not to overstep the dominant boundaries. Loves bones and toys and playing. He’s working on leash walking and doing very well.
Rudy is well on his way with potty training, which has been hit and miss, but more outside than in.
He’ll be microchipped and dewormed and have 2 vaccinations. He can leave to his furever family on July 19th.

ROCCO
Rocco is an energetic, 4 month old male mix breed. He weighs approximately 25 lbs. He is so handsome with wrinkles on the top of his head!
He is shy of people at first, but once he gets comfortable, he becomes your shadow.
He is puppy pad trained and is well on his way learning to go outside with his foster siblings.
Rocco loves attention and will cuddle with anyone who gives him attention. He plays well with his foster siblings, but not sure about the cat. He is good with children.
Rocco will be ready to leave for his forever family on July 19th.
He will have two sets of vaccines and be microchipped and dewormed.

BUDDY
Hi, I’m Buddy! 
I’m about a year old, and I have lots of puppy energy! My favorite thing in the whole world is being close to my people. I love giving cuddles, getting pets, and following my humans wherever they go. If you’re looking for a best friend, I think we’d make a pretty great team!
I can be a little shy when I first meet new people, but don’t worry it doesn’t take me long to warm up! Once I know you’re kind, I’ll be right by your side asking for love and attention.
I love going for walks and I walk nicely on my leash with my tail held high. I’m also good with other dogs! I haven’t met any cats yet, so we’re not sure what I think about them.
Everyone keeps telling me I’m super smart! I LOVE food (seriously… I’ll do just about anything for a treat! 
), and because of that I’ve been learning so much. In just one week I’ve already learned:

Under (I’ll lay nicely under your legs when we’re out so no one accidentally steps on me.)I’m also working really hard on my crate training. I sleep in my crate all night without any problems, and now I’m learning that it’s a nice place to relax during the day too. I’m practicing not rushing out open doors, working on my recall, and learning my house manners and I’m doing pretty well if I do say so myself!
Oh, and getting my nails trimmed? No problem! I’m also not picky about food at all. If it’s food, I’m probably going to love it!
I’m still a young guy, so I have lots to learn, but I promise I’ll give it my all. All I really want is a family to love, adventures to go on, and a cozy place to call home. Could that be with you?

DARCIE
Hi, my name is Darcie. My foster parent’s grandchildren named me and I just love my name!
I’m a 6 month female mixed breed, part husky mix, and weigh close to 30 pounds. Everyone comments how beautiful my markings are!
I have a crate I like to go in, but please don’t lock the door. When I’m alone for a bit I’m a good girl and I don’t get into any trouble. I love to be close by my foster parents or grandchildren. I’m extremely affectionate, love my rubs, playful, love playing fetch, but I really like to be lazy at times too. I think this might be a no-no but I love lazying around or sleeping with the grandkids on their beds, oops!
I’m trained to do my jobs outside which I’m rewarded for. When I’ve had enough of being outside, I’ll run to the door and sit to go in. Sometimes I get a bit nervous on walks and need to be nudged, but Wow! there is a whole big world out there and I’m happy to explore!

Hi, my name is Shadow and I’m a short legged girl ready to find my furever family. I may be 3 years old but I really don’t recall what year I was born. I’m a bit unsure of things right now but I’m coming along every day. I’m eager to learn and please and I just need time and patience, and of course, love, to feel more secure.

Foxy is a 3 year old mixed breed, with lots of love of give. She’s down for whatever you have to offer. Whether it’s cuddles on the couch, car rides or long walks in town or in nature. She does not bark or whine, she never complains and is always happy! Foxy is also fully house-trained.
She knows her name very well and comes when called. She is so smart and eager to learn. She does extremely well with animals of all shapes and sizes; dogs, cats, horses, goats and chickens!
She may look big, but she has little legs and weighs only 31lbs. The only big thing about her is her heart
She’s the perfect girl and would make a great addition to any family!
